You don’t have to do this alone.

I’m Sue - think of me as your tree (pose) to lean on when things get tough.

Working as an oncology and palliative care nurse for over 20 years, I’ve seen it all. Dealing with “The Big C” is anything but fun. That’s why I now support women - like you - who are navigating the challenges of living with cancer or other long-term conditions with gentle, therapeutic yoga.

 The Process

1. We Chat

On our first (complementary) call, you share a bit more about yourself so I can better understand your specific needs. Whether you’ve just been diagnosed, are undergoing active treatment, or you’re recovering after surgery, every yoga session is designed to suit you.

2. Get Guidance & Support

You’ll be guided through each yoga therapy session over Zoom - so you never have to leave the comfort of home. With your aims and goals always front-of-mind, I’ll work at your pace. Whatever you may be going through, know you’re fully supported during our time together.

3. Experience the Benefits

Yoga can help alleviate the extreme anxiety and stress that comes along with diagnosis. It can also help manage the side effects of chemotherapy and medications, while speeding up the healing process. You may find you sleep better, too.

“I was physically and emotionally exhausted from surgery and radiotherapy and struggling with the side effects from these and the tamoxifen. I knew I needed something to help improve how I was feeling.

After working with Sue I feel physically more balanced. I am gaining more movement back to my chest/arm/shoulder.

Yoga therapy helps me really tune into how my body was feeling. Sue taught me about the benefits of breathing exercises and relaxation and I’ve adopted regular breathing sessions in the mornings. I found this really helps me to fall asleep at night. I also feel very grounded and mentally calmed afterwards - I’m ready to face the world!”

I’m proud to work with Victoria’s Promise - a charity founded to help support young women on their cancer journey.

Through this inspiring organisation, I’m able to reach more women, guiding them in weekly group yoga practices and yoga nidras.

If you’ve been recently diagnosed, and are looking for a supportive community of women who are going through what you’re going through, I encourage you to reach out to the lovely people at Victoria’s Promise.

“Sue’s voice is so soothing. After listening to her yoga nidra, I felt more calm and more in tune with my body. I never take this kind of time for myself - Sue helped me to actually stop for 30 minutes and fully relax.”
