There isn’t much I haven’t seen.

As a registered nurse in oncology and palliative care, I’ve witnessed all the highs and lows that come along with being human. 

Doing what I do, it’s important I show up for my patients - and my family - in a way that’s grounded, calm, and reassuring.

I wasn’t always so “zen”, though - if you’d met me over 20 years ago, you may have caught yourself on the receiving end of my quick temper!

But one holiday in Mexico changed all that. Every morning I’d start my day by going to yoga class on the beach. I loved it so much I continued with lessons when I returned home to the UK.  

My teacher was so wonderful I ended up going on retreats with her to Egypt and India - I couldn’t get enough of it! 

One day I was travelling to work on the M25 and realised I’d become a much calmer person. I now let things just wash over me. Yoga was the only thing I could think of that had changed, so I decided to learn more about it.

 
 

Before long, I became a certified yoga teacher, then continued on to study yoga therapy.

The more I practiced, the more I understood how healing yoga can be. It seemed inevitable that I’d someday share yoga with my patients.

Now, I bring everything I’ve learned about the holistic benefits of yoga to our one-to-one sessions. Whatever you’re going through, therapeutic yoga can support you - not only physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, too.

If you’re battling cancer, or any other long-term condition, you’re already a warrior. I’m here to guide you, support you, and give you the best possible tools to help you in the fight.
